Workshops
After two decades as a filmmaker, journalist, and writer working across various mediums, Brebner chose to turn his creative focus inward – and pass it on. Today, he leads workshops and retreats that blend writing, consciousness, imagery, and movement, taking place both in nature and within the depths of the self. Using tools such as intuitive writing, meditation, documentary storytelling, and shifting perspectives, participants learn to distill personal experiences into authentic artistic expression. The retreats and workshops he created – including Creative Lab, Writing Retreat for Photographing Consciousness, and Writing Love – were born from a desire to help people uncover their inner sources of inspiration, compassion, and truth.

Writing Retreat for Photographing Consciousness
Leaving behind the familiar worlds, the rooms, and the physical and mental boxes we live in, and stepping into the wild nature allows us to reconnect with our most basic tool - intuition.
In this 3-day retreat, we journey into a magical space. Through this natural setting, we will work with the deepest aspects of our being - beyond the rational mind - and connect them to movement, the body, and creative writing.
A mystical union between movement that arises directly from the body - spontaneous and unplanned - and writing that emerges from the depths of our consciousness, opens a gateway to sources of inspiration beyond the thinking mind, creating a weekend outside of time.

Points of View and View on the Points
We experience the world through our eyes, emotions, thoughts, and the familiar stories we live by. But what happens when we shift perspective?
In the writing workshop, we’ll play with points of view, experimenting with perceiving reality in new ways. We'll draw inspiration from the elements around us and open a window into new regions of our consciousness. Often, the farther we move from familiar places - in writing and in life - the more hidden sources of creativity begin to emerge. They’ve always been within us, but now we can finally see them.

From Within to Without: Intuitive Writing that Becomes Art
A writing workshop flowing between intuitive and creative writing - from writing for ourselves to writing for the world. Inspired by The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron, we’ll learn to write directly from our desires, sensations, and inner longings - with no interference from the rational mind.
We'll use stream-of-consciousness writing - pens never leaving the page, fingers never leaving the keyboard - to forge a direct link between consciousness and words. We'll also explore the golden rule: never wear the writer's hat and editor's hat at the same time. And remember: in writing, there’s no such thing as “forbidden.”
From the material we write for ourselves, we’ll choose an idea, memory, or experience we want to turn into a piece for the world - a thought we want to share, a moment worth passing on, a story ready to be born.

Writing Love
A workshop blending guided meditation and creative-therapeutic writing, helping us distill the essence of love in our lives, write it, and use it as a creative tool - one we can carry into other areas of life.
The session includes a guided love meditation, feeling love flow through every artery of the body, followed by a writing exercise centered on love, and concludes with reading and open sharing.

Explore fears, desires, and hidden creatures by turning emotions into visual characters:
A hands-on AI art workshop

What if your emotions had a face? In this creative, hands-on workshop led by filmmaker and writer Kaitz Brebner, participants will explore their inner world by transforming emotions into visual characters using accessible AI tools. Inspired by Brebner’s acclaimed animated short Guilt’s Orgasm - which imagines guilt as a seductive and manipulative woman - the session blends art, psychology, and technology. No prior AI experience is needed, only a smartphone or laptop. Through guided exercises, participants will select an emotion or inner pattern and bring it to life using platforms like Leonardo AI and LumaLabs. The result is a symbolic portrait of your emotional shadow - a tool for healing, reflection, and self-awareness. The session also includes a screening of Brebner’s films, including Cactus, Love, Mountains, offering further inspiration for inner exploration through visual storytelling.
Creative Lab - A Journey Through Story and Consciousness
A three-day writing and creation retreat in nature, guided by Kaitz Brebner and Anat Tel, inviting you to dive deep into the worlds of storytelling, consciousness, and imagery. If words are burning inside you, if there's a story waiting to be written - this is your moment. The retreat combines in-depth writing workshops – from personal narratives to broader themes - with inspiring sessions on documentary filmmaking and how to tell a story through the camera’s eye. You'll also experience yoga and consciousness practices to open the body and quiet the mind, as well as creative circles for sharing, deep dialogue, and mutual inspiration. A weekend of freedom, inner connection, and creative awakening - for the story that’s ready to be born from within you.
